Frequently Asked Questions

Any individual 15 years of age and over can sign up and create an account with us. Those below 18 years old may sign up for an account but will require parental consent when requesting for a card. Additional requirements might also be requested for those below 18 when validating the account.

Signing up for a YOmoney account is easy and only takes a few minutes.

  1. Register your email address and/or mobile number and create your password thru our website
  2. An e-mail and/or SMS with an activation link will be sent to your registered e-mail address and/or mobile number.
  3. Once activated, you must fill out all required information and submit/upload one (1) valid IDs and/or proof of billing to complete account verification.
  4. Once the submitted IDs are approved, you will be marked as verified and can fully use YOmoney App features.

The email address and/or mobile number you register with YOmoney will be your unique ID and will serve as your username when you log in. Only one email address is allowed per member.

After activating your account, you will be prompted to fill out basic information details such as your First & Last Name, Address, and Birthdate. You will also be asked to create your unique Transaction PIN. Lastly, to verify your account, you must submit via email or upload a copy of one (1) valid government-issued ID or any billing statement as a proof of identity.
